Professional radio-tv journalist and producer, educated in the Netherlands and Denmark, and specializing in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the USA. My career evolved since I was 20 years old, in Albania, when I made my first appearance on TV, as a presenter and showman for the most important television event of the year in Albania in those years: "The Song Festival" (Festivali i Kengës në RTV)

 

I have been the main news anchor of the Public Broadcaster of Albania (RTSH) for over 8 years, for the news in Albanian & English, and I have televised the most important events of Actuality, i.e. live-coverage from the EU Parliament and Council of Europe, the Presidential Elections in USA and the Parliamentary elections in Albania, and many other exclusivites of RTSH. I also presented on stage various high-profile shows, produced by RTSH and by other television stations / platforms also (such as Klan, Digitalb, Tring , etc.). I have been the official spokesperson for Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest  (ESC) for eight years in a row.

 

Radio has been and remains one of my passions, which I have shared with Albanian listeners through the waves of Radio Tirana, Radio Korça and ABC Radio. The most popular radio programs I have presented were a series of investigative journalism radio programs, called "A Listening Ear"; an innovative and interactive radio-format aired on ABC radio.

 

During 2012-2013 I was in the US, as a researcher and scholar, under the Fulbright (Humphrey Fellowship) program for professional journalists. I have used my communication skills to contribute through professional engagements with various international organizations, such as SNV, MDM, OSCE and HELVETAS.

 

Nowadays I am a freelancer, engaged with specific projects for various audio-visual media outlets,  at the same time being actively involved in causes that are important and of interest to me, such as media freedom, animal rights, nature conservation, spirituality, and faith in God.
